PhD in Business Sciences and Professor in the Area of ​​Applied Economics at the University of León for more than 25 years.

She has dedicated most of her working life to teaching a wide range of subjects related to economic structure, both at bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. Her main lines of research are linked to international and European economics, although in recent years she has turned towards environmental and feminist issues. She has participated in various research projects and has an extensive career in university management, which includes participation in the European alliance Eureca Pro. She has enjoyed different academic stays in France and Finland.
